Disco 2 upgrades

I would like some advise from some of our more knowledgeable friends...

I have a 7 seat Disco 2 and would like to make it better for off roading and I only have a very very small budget and need to make each purchase count.

What should I do and in which order (you can also name a place to buy the bits if you want!)

I have the following (in no particular order):

Steering guards (front and trackrod - from bitter experience).
Diff guards
off road tyres (I plan on getting a road biased set for the long slog trips)
seat covers
load bay cover.
